Canada’s Brendan Bottcher dropped an 8-7 resolution to Russia’s Sergey Glukhov on Wednesday afternoon on the BKT Tires & OK Tire World Males’s Curling Championship.
Bottcher made a runback double takeout to attain three within the 10th finish to drive an additional finish.
Glukhov used hammer to make a game-winning draw for the victory.
Canada will play defending champion Niklas Edin of Sweden within the night.
Canada fell to 7-Three in round-robin play whereas Russia improved to 8-2.
The highest six groups within the 14-team competitors will make the playoffs.
