EJAC calls for implementation of Minimal Wages Act in JK ‘Resolve the already conceded issues /demands of employees’
Srinagar Dec 24 : Staff Joint Motion Committee (EJAC) has urged the federal government to resolve the already conceded points and calls for of workers.
An additional extraordinary daylong session of Staff’ Joint Motion Committee (EJAC) was held underneath the chairmanship of its President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam on the workplace of Centaur Staff union at Resort Centaur. The session was hosted by the president Centaur Staff union Peer Mohammad Ismail Shah. All of the heads of affiliated items participated within the session together with district presidents of various districts.
The leaders have urged upon the Govt to resolve the already conceded problems with the staff at an earliest.
“As the model code of conduct is over the government must come up with a comprehensive redressal of the issues of the employees working in different departments. The session urged the government to regularise the temporary employees of all the departments as this issue is lingering since long and the pending salaries/ wages should be released at the earliest. The patience of employees should not be treated as weakness of the employees. EJAC cautioned the government not to adopt delay delaying tactics anymore,” a spokesperson of the EJAC stated.
The session demanded that Minimal Wages Act be applied in letter and spirit in order that short-term workers might heave a sigh of reduction. The EJAC requested the departmental heads to carry D P C conferences of their respective departments in order that the staff are benefitted.
EJAC President Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam whereas addressing the session stated that the battle shall proceed until all the problems of workers are resolved.
Shabnam burdened on the unity of workers and stated that is the biggest bonafide consultant group of the staff.
“We are committed to represent the employment with sincerity and dedicated,” he informed information company KINS.
The leaders assured the President that EJAC is powerful sufficient to work for the honour & dignity of the staff. The EJAC criticized the position of vested curiosity people who find themselves harming the reason for workers for furthering the agenda of their sponsors. The session suggested such components to desist from such actions which hamper the reason for workers. All of the taking part leaders expressed the satisfaction for the profitable conduct of the session & thanked the host and the leaders.
Shabnam urged upon all of the organizational heads to handle an in depth liaison with floor degree activists of EJAC in order that this platform could attain extra heights and the worker may be served with robust voice.
