KUPWARA, NOV 30: Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a militant affiliate of Jaish-e-Mohammad in Dragmulla space of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

A senior Police officer informed GNS that police arrested a militant affiliate of JeM at a Naka together with 01 chinese language grenade and Rs.3.5 lac.

The police officer additional stated that he had come from Sopore together with cash to buy weapons.

A case has been lodged below FIR no. 333/2020 US 3/four Explosive sub act, 13,38, 40 ULAP act in Police Station Kupwara, the officer added.

Offcial sources recognized the apprehended militant affiliate as Sahil Mushtaq son of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar resident of Babgund Handwara.(GNS)
